House in Ludlow signWhy bother with the appalling drive down to a self catering holiday cottage in the traffic-clogged Cotswolds or Devon and Cornwall when you can come to beautiful Ludlow?

The House stands in Old Street, right in the centre of Ludlow.

Once settled in, you probably won't have to use your car during your stay (although we do have parking permits for right outside the House).

Every place you might need to get to - the famous restaurants, the Castle, the amazing food shops, the market and so on - is all within walking distance.

There's also plenty to see and do within striking distance of Ludlow. The Marches are close by and you have the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire, Herefordshire and Wales on your doorstep.

Getting to Ludlow is pretty easy. The town is well served by the A49 road and has its own railway station (five minutes walk from the House) which is served every 30 minutes by trains running from Manchester to Wales and connecting with the First Great Western service at Newport.

For true railway lovers, take the new Wrexham, Shropshire and Marylebone Railway service from London which connects at Shrewsbury.
